We were all heartbroken after Del's passing in February, none more so than Benjamin who got to know his Grandad so much more intimately while putting this documentary together. While we're still a ways off, the edit is coming together and we hope to do another Oregon trip before years end to get more footage of the family and truly do Del's memory justice. In between this we've been hard at work with various projects for FFF and otherwise. Until the next round, here's to Del and spreading love:
After three weeks of Oregon, good food and good people, we've got enough footage to jump into post and start putting together Del's story. So many great memories created and we cannot wait to share with everyone; until then, here is a quick still from one of our journeys just outside of Roseburg.
Del's surgery went well and he's recouping at home. Prepped to make the trek to Oregon and start shooting, we jumped onto the feature film Afraid to Sleep with DE51 Films in the interim, working in various capacities to help bring this thriller to life! More info via their Facebook and their Official Website.
As we make progress to get moving on our feature debut doc, Cowboy Poetry, a setback happened, as they do. While still in pre-production, we learned Del's surgery post chemo was scheduled at a later date than anticipated. In order to give him ample recovery time we've adjusted accordingly and continue to prep the production. All the best and a speedy recovery!
